About Us

Bringing People Together

Welcome to Mr Singh's, where our purpose is "Bringing People Together" through the love of spicy, flavourful, and crunchy snacks. Our journey is one of passion, perseverance, and a dash of spice.

The Spark

It all began in a humble garden shed in the heart of East London, ignited by the fiery spirit of our dad, Pops. His love for chilli, family, and fun led to creating a world-famous chilli sauce. This wasn’t just any sauce; it was a masterpiece that soon graced the shelves of Tesco, Ocado, Sainsbury's, Selfridges, and Harvey Nichols. Our family's culinary adventure caught the attention of The Times, The Mail on Sunday, Vogue, and the BBC, winning the hearts of many.

7 members of the family were crammed into a tiny shed, Mum, Pops, Kooks, Rav, Butch, Amar and Sonia all hand-picking chillis, blending, boiling and bottling the sauce.  Evenings, weekends and holidays were spent together, uniting the family and bringing them together unlike ever before.

The adventure saved the family and united them, which became the brand's spirit - ‘bringing people together’ through food and being part of something bigger than themselves.

The Heat

Fueled by Pops' creativity, we ventured into making the best chilli crisps in the world. Each flavour was a labour of love, crafted with personal family stories. One of our favourite tales is about the accidental creation of the “World’s Hottest Crisps - Sweet Reapers.” Pops miscalculated the recipe, making them 25 times hotter than planned. To our surprise, everyone loved them! Our customers crave our crisps for their unmatched flavour, intense spice, and satisfying crunch. We promise that every bite delivers these in abundance.

The Fall

But every great story has its trials. The Covid pandemic hit us hard, bringing the world—and our business—to a standstill. We were on the brink of closing down last year, a dark time that tested our resilience.

The Rebirth

In the face of adversity, Rav and Kooks made a bold decision. Determined to save the family legacy, Rav left his corporate job, and Kooks went as far as remortgaging his home. Despite ongoing struggles with banks and production, their relentless spirit revived Mr Singh’s Chilli Crisps. They didn’t just bring back the crisps; they revitalised our brand with engaging new content, family stories, funny segments, a family business podcast, and more music videos.
